Grand National bet for Mourinho on Big Fella Thanks
Published:JOSE MOURINHO will have a couple of reasons to be cheering on Big Fella Thanks in Saturday’s Grand National, according to Ladbrokes.
The bookies are offering the Real Madrid boss a free charity bet on Big Fella Thanks to win the big race, in the aftermath of Spurs striker Peter Crouch’s calamitous red-card and a brace of goals from his 6ft 4ins striker Emmanuel Adebayor on Tuesday night.
David Williams of Ladbrokes said: “Jose has a couple of reasons to fancy Big Fella Thanks for the National. Crouch may be on the naughty step while Adebayor will be celebrating.
“Mourinho will be chuffed to bits with both the big fellas and can now focus fully on the Aintree race this weekend.”
Ladbrokes will give Mourinho a £200 bet on the 14/1 chance and hand over a cheque for £3,000 to the music therapy charity Nordoff-Robbins which the Real manager has been supporting this year if Big Fella Thanks wins the Grand National.
