Djokovic to shock bookies with unbeaten season?

Novak Djokovic extended his sensational streak to 39 consecutive wins this year by defeating Rafael Nadal in the final of the Rome Masters, and has now been cut to 5/4 (from 5/2) to win the French Open.

The Spaniard remains 10/11 favourite to win again in Paris, while it’s 50/1 that Djokovic and Nadal meet in every Grand Slam final in 2011. Djokovic is 1/3 to finish the year as World Number 1.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “Despite cutting Djokovic for the French Open we think his winning streak may come to an end there. His red-hot form means there will be takers for him to stay unbeaten and he looks set to finish the year at the top of the pile.’
