Ivanovic 4/9 to set up a third round clash with Wozniacki

| 11.05.2011

We may be in the early rounds of the Internazionali BNL d’Italia but there is plenty of value to be found by punters in the betting, and Marion Bartoli can prove a punters favourite.

Bartoli upset the Internazionali BNL d’Italia odds on Monday when defeating Arantza Parra Santonja and French number one is a huge 11/10 to defeat Anabel Medina Garrigues today.

The two have met six times previously and Medina Garrigues did win their only meeting on clay which is why she is the 4/6 favourite, but Bartoli has defeated her opponent on five occasions and she can continue that dominance today.

Ana Ivanovic vs Yanina Wickmayer

Ivanovic is yet to lose a game in the Internazionali BNL d’Italia and the Serb is the 4/9 favourite to beat Wickmayer.

Surprisingly the two have never met before and Wickmayer will prove a tough opponent for Ivanovic, but based on form we have to take the Serb at 3/1 to win 2-1.

Both players met Bartoli in the BNP Paribas Open and both lost 2-0, but Wickmayer was comprehensively beaten while Ivanovic took Bartoli to a tiebreak and the Serb should have too much class.

Bethanie Mattek-Sands vs Jarmila Gajdosova

Mattek-Sands surprised us yesterday by beating Flavia Pennetta but having been huge fans of her odds last week, we’re loving the 1/1 for the American to beat Gajdosova today.

Mattek-Sands has beaten four seeds in her last five matches and while Gajdosova beat the American in January, we can’t get away from the incredible value that Mattek-Sands offers.

Take the 1/1 for the American to win and the 9/4 that she does so in straight sets.

Caroline Wozniacki should waltz into the third round at 1/50 to beat Anastasia Rodionova and Victoria Azarenka should repeat her 2-0 April victory over Sara Errani at 4/11.

A £10 stake on Ivanovic winning the Internazionali BNL d’Italia would return £170. New customers can sign up here to take advantage of a free tennis bet.
