Enhanced odds treble sees punters find value in backing Frankel
Published:Tuesday sees the start of the 2011 Royal Ascot meeting and with the likes of Frankel, Canford Cliffs, Goldikova and Junior all in action on day one, we’re in for one incredible treat.
Frankel will undoubtedly steal the show at around 15:45 in the St James’s Palace Stakes, but at odds of 2/5 to win, there are plenty of punters who will find it difficult to back this season’s star.
Having romped home in the 2000 Guineas, Frankel has emerged as the one to watch this season and Ladbrokes are offering punters a chance to get a slice of Frankel’s action.
You’ll find odds of 11/2 for a Frankel, So You Think and Fame And Glory treble in the widget to your right, and with many convinced the three horses are the bankers of the meeting, there’s plenty of value to be had.

Our previews of Wednesday’s races will not be up until early Wednesday morning but we can also tell you that we’re very excited about seeing So You Think in action and we certainly believe the hype when people call Aiden O’Brien’s star the best in the world.
So You Think will take on seven rivals in Wednesday’s 15:45 feature race at Royal Ascot, and the five-year-old will take all the beating at 4/9.
Fame And Glory runs in the feature race of the meeting on Thursday and his chances have become a lot stronger following the withdrawal of Rite Of Passage from the Gold Cup.
Another potential winner for Aiden O’Brien, Fame And Glory is the 2/1 chance in the Ascot Gold Cup betting and should he take to the 2m4f trip, it’s difficult to see any of his rivals beating him.
Combining the three said horses in a standard treble would offer up odds of 5/1 so take the enhanced 11/2 on offer from Ladbrokes.
With plenty of support expected for Frankel and So You Think, it’s easy to see their prices shortening before the start of their respective races and the 11/2 is looking incredible value right now.
