Hair today, gone tomorrow – Rooney 6/1 to leave United next season

WAYNE ROONEY’S hair transplant will help him score at least four headers next season according to bookies Ladbrokes.

The firm are betting how many goals he bags with his bonce next term and make four their favourite at 5/2. It’s 16/1 he fails to score with his head all season and 6/1 he grabs six or more.

It’s 9/2 his first goal of the Premier League campaign is a header and the bookies also quote 6/1 that the 2011/12 season is his last at Old Trafford.

He’s 5/4 to officially endorse a hair product/treatment in 2011 and punters who expect him to go to town with his new locks can back him at 66/1 to sport a ponytail by the end of the year.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “We reckon Rooney’s new barnet might inspire a spate of headed goals next season. The offers must already be rolling in from gel and shampoo firms.”
