Au rev-Warsi?
Published:Baroness Warsi has been cut from 16/1 to 4/1 with Ladbrokes to be the next cabinet member to leave.
With pressure easing on David Cameron (6/1 from 4/1 earlier this week), the Conservative Party Chairman is now second favourite, after Chris Huhne (5/2), to lose her role, following claims by insiders that the Prime Minister needs a stronger figure as Chairman to back him in tough times.
Cameron is now 16/1 (from 10/1) to quit before the end of July and 5/1 (from 4/1) to go before the end of 2011.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said, “Although it looks like the PM is riding out the storm, Warsi’s failure to stand up for her boss might cost her her job.”
