Cameron closing in on favouritism in Next MP to leave market
Published:Time is ticking for David Cameron according to Ladbrokes.
The bookies have had to slash the odds him of being the next MP to leave Cabinet to 6/1 overnight – making him the joint second favourite minister to leave Cabinet next.
Only Chris Huhne appears to have more chance of leaving before him at 2/1 and it’s 3/1 that Cameron isn’t around at the next General Election (1/5 he is).
There’s also been a shake up in the next Metropolitan Police Commissioner market as Bernard Hogan-Howe is backed for the job (now 3/1 joint favourite).
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “It’s one way traffic for Cameron. The money has spoken and his price of leaving his shortening by the hour.”
he added: “Hogan-Howe is all the rage in the Met chief market.”
