Following his switch to Barcelona the midfielder is 10/1 to find the net against his old club and the bookies also think he will find success immediately with the 1/4 quote he wins a trophy at the club in his first season.
It’s also 4/1 that Barcelona knock Arsenal out of the Champions League this season, and 11/4 Fabregas fails to lift any silverware at the first attempt.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “Fabregas could well come back to haunt his old club. If they cross paths in Europe we’re sure the Catalans will come out on top.”
He added: “After his dry spell at Arsenal it looks like Fabregas will win a trophy at his first attempt.”
