The bookies are now taking bets on how the new couple will perform on and off the field from now on and it’s 2/1 they announce their engagement next year. They’re even money to win over $10 million in prize money collectively next year and it’s a massive 10,000/1 they both complete the Grand Slam in 2012.
In the major head-to-head Wozniacki is the 1/5 favourite to win the next major (3/1 McIlroy) and it’s 1/3 the couple manage less than 2 majors between them next year.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “We think Woz will win the first major. It looks like they’ll both be in for a bumper year of prize money but may only manage one major between them in 2012.”
He added: “If marriage is on the agenda the odds suggest there’s no shortage of cash for the ceremony.”
