The Championship teams to put in your accumulator this weekend

The football season is back which means accumulative betting returns to the forefront of most punters minds.

With the three Football League divisions all kicking off this weekend there are plenty of football odds to study but we’re making it easier by picking out the best bets in each league.

Follow the links for the League One tips and League Two tips but below you’ll find three teams that can return a tidy profit this weekend.

Brighton to beat Doncaster @ 4/5

The Falmer Stadium will play host to its first competitive fixture on Saturday and the feel-good feeling that reverberates around Brighton’s stunning new stadium can transcend on to the pitch.

Goals may be at a premium considering the last four ties between these two have produced just four goals, but only one of the last seven clashes has ended in a draw and Brighton sneaking a 1-0 win is tempting at 6/1.

Nottingham Forest to beat Barnsley @ 4/6

Forest are one of many people’s dark horses for the title this season and Steve McClaren will be desperate to get off to a good start.

Barnsley are without a win on the opening day since 2005 and considering just one of the last 11 between these two have been won by the away side, McClaren’s side look excellent value for an opening day win.

Like the Brighton game, goals may come at a premium here and under 2.5 goals is 5/6

Ipswich to beat Bristol City @ 15/8

There don’t appear to be many away victories on the opening day of the season but Ipswich have strengthened well despite losing Connor Wickham and Bristol City face a tough battle at Ashton Gate.

Ipswich are unbeaten in their last six matches with the Robins but this could be a game full of goals and we expect Ipswich to net the winner in the second half.
