Villa favourites to land Barton
Published:Aston Villa are the favourites to land Joey Barton according to Ladbrokes.
Villa are 4/1 for his signature however he could also be on his way to London as Fulham (6/1), QPR (8/1), West Ham (8/1) and Arsenal (8/1) are prominent in the betting.
Should he move north of the border it’s Celtic at 10/1 who are favoured over Rangers (12/1) and he’s 33/1 to return to Manchester City.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “Villa are the early favourites but we expect this market to be as volatile as his career.”
