Who will captain England against Argentina?

| 09.08.2011

Lewis Moody is 2/1 with Ladbrokes to captain England in their opening match of the Rugby World Cup.

Moody’s fitness doubts leave Nick Easter the next in at 3/1 and it’s 4/1 Mike Tindall takes the armband.

Dylan Hartley & Tom Croft (both 7/1) also appear to be in contention and 2003 hero Wilkinson is a 16/1 outsider.

It’s 9/1 any other player leads the team out.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “Doubts over Moody’s fitness have left the market wide open. Should he miss out Easter looks like being the main beneficiary.”
