Bookies sweating as Jedward go odds-on for Big Brother glory
Published:JEDWARD ARE leaving bookies Ladbrokes quaking as Celebrity Big Brother enters the closing stages.
In the opening weekend of the show the bookies pledged to refund all losing stakes on other contestants if the terrible twins won and they are now odds-on to do so at 4/6.
Kerry Katona is the 7/4 second favourite as Paddy Doherty slips out of contention to 10/1. Amy Childs drifts to 25/1 having been one of the hot favourites for the show at the start.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “The prospect of a Jedward victory is giving us sleepless nights. Our money back offer was exceptionally popular and doubled the stakes we took on the show.”
He added: “It now seems Kerry is the only one who can serve it up to the twins. A victory for anyone else looks highly unlikely.”
