Juventus star Del Piero linked with moves to Fulham and QPR

Fulham or QPR could be set for an exciting summer if the latest rumours from Italy are to be believed.

According to reports in Italy, Juventus president Andrea Agnelli has told veteran striker Alessandro Del Piero that he will be allowed to leave at the end of the season – and Fulham and QPR are allegedly keen on snapping him up.

Despite Del Piero being 37 at the start of next season it would certainly grab the attention if one of the sides were to snap up the World Cup winner.

However, first they both must make sure they are playing Premier League football if they are to have any hope of adding yet more glamour to West London.

Elsewhere, Manchester United have had a £2.5million bid for Real Betis’s Alvaro Vadillo turned down.

The winger – who only turned 17 last month – is tipped to go on to big things, but United will have to fork out more cash if they are to tempt the Spanish side to sell.

Finally, there is some relatively good news for Arsenal fans who can expect to see Marouane Chamakh still playing for Arsenal after the January transfer window has closed.

There have been rumours that the Morocco striker was going to Roma in January but his agent, Pierre Frelot, has rubbished the claims.

He may not be the most loved player at the Emirates but, with Robin van Persie currently carrying the team and being prone to injury, Arsenal cannot afford to lose any back-up for the Dutchman.

Arsenal are currently out behind both Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool in the betting to finish fourth and get back into the Champions League.
