Nu-Vibe and Sami in battle to avoid X Factor elimination
Published:Nu-Vibe and Sami Brooks are the two acts currently being backed to be the fifth elimination from the X Factor.
The X Factor returns to its traditional style this week, following the twist on the first live show which saw the field reduced from 16 to 12 acts.
Therefore, it will largely be in the hands of the public who exits the show, as viewers will vote for who they want to stay in.
Then, it will be down to the judges to decide which of the two acts to have received the fewest number of the votes by the public deserves to leave.
Nu-Vibe were arguably one of the luckiest to survive after a fairly average performance of the Chris Brown hit Beautiful People.
However, mentor Tulisa opted to send 2 Shoes home from the groups category, although she did admit to changing her mind on the decision at least once.
She has also been forthright in telling Nu-Vibe that they need to step up their performance levels or they will have difficulty surviving much longer in the competition.
The fact that fellow boy band The Risk are also still in the competition and one of the favourites in the X Factor betting only reduces their target audience further.
Nu-Vibe are now 2/1 in the X Factor betting to be the fifth act eliminated having opened at 7/2 earlier in the week.
Meanwhile, Sami was fairly solid on the first live show and quickly earned the tag of ‘The Voice’ of the competition.
But voice alone seems unlikely to have earned her a major fan base and she has shortened from 6/1 to 5/1 to be the next to go and leave Louis Walsh as the first judge to only have two acts left in the show.
