Three-horse race to win X Factor as The Risk take favouritism

The money continues to come for The Risk to win the X Factor and they have now joined Janet Devlin at the head of the betting after impressing the most on the second live show.

Following their rendition of the Bruno Mars track ‘Just The Way You Are’, the boy band have been well backed to win the X Factor from 11/2 to their current price of 9/4.

And with a lack of truly standout acts in this year’s X Factor there has arguably never been a better time for a group to claim victory for the first time.

Disapproval was definitely more commonplace among the judges on week two of the show, with a handful of the acts being the recipients of some negative words and constructive criticism.

However, one of the acts who was the beneficiary of heavy praise was long-term favourite Janet and despite the shining performance of The Risk, she has shortened from 11/4 to 9/4 to win the X Factor.

Misha B has remained steady at 4/1 and Rhythmix have been nibbled at into 25/1, but aside from this quartet, everyone else has drifted in the X Factor betting winners’ market, suggesting that many believe it is already a three-horse race.

Gary Barlow is the judge who certainly appears to have the most work to do.

Frankie Cocozza has drifted in a major way from 10/1 to 33/1 after finding himself in the bottom two, while Craig Colton and Marcus Collins also seem short of admirers in a betting sense.

It is now 5/1 that any of Barlow’s boys wins the X Factor, with Kelly Rowland 8/11 to be the winning judge with all of her three girls extremely likely to still be involved in the latter stages of the competition.
