Audley on the ropes to avoid Strictly Come Dancing exit

Published:

Audley Harrison may have the backing of former heavyweight boxing foe David Haye, but support from the voting public may be lacking as he is the heavy favourite to be the fifth celebrity eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing.

Harrison found himself in the bottom two last week but managed to survive at the expense of Nancy Dell’Olio.

However, his time may now be up and it is 5/6 in the Strictly Come Dancing odds that the former Olympic gold medallist is out next.

Part of the reason for Harrison’s short price is that it is almost certain to be towards the foot, if not bottom, of the leaderboard of the next show.

The only other probable contender to prop up the leaderboard is Russell Grant, but the fact he has a bigger fanbase than Harrison should see him comfortably survive.

Lulu comes next in the Strictly Come Dancing betting to be the next celebrity eliminated, but she has been closing in on a first score over 30 in recent weeks and if she achieves this feat, she may be safe.

In terms of value in the betting market, Robbie Savage looks way overpriced at 16/1 to be the next to go.

Savage has seen his scores getting worse rather than better in the last few weeks and another poor display on the dancefloor could leave him in danger of elimination.

His next performance with partner Ola Jordan will be a waltz and he will be particularly keen to impress judge Craig Revel Horwood after being handed some spectacularly low scores of late.u
