Strictly Come Dancing: Harry can do no wrong and is the man to beat

Harry Judd remains the favourite to win Strictly Come Dancing after another showstopping performance on Saturday night.

The McFly drummer wowed the judges with his tango and was awarded top marks by both Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli.

But it was comments from the normally hard to please Craig Revel Horwood that really caught the attention.

He said: “It had authority, dominance, command, control. It was filth and I loved it!”

Harry is currently 13/8 to win the series and is a firm favourite with the judges, but he will face some stiff competition in the coming weeks.

Jason Donovan bounced back from his seemingly bi-weekly dip in form with an excellent Viennese Waltz to show he is still very much in the competition.

He picked up 35 points for his performance and remains second favourite for the competition at 11/4.

However, he has been caught by Chelsee Healey who once again impressed the judges with her foxtrot that saw her bag 36 points and led to her being cut to 11/4.

Meanwhile, Holly Valance and stand-in partner Brendan Cole performed admirably considering Holly’s regular partner, Artem Chigvintsev, was out with a back injury.

They performed an excellent rumba that had the judges purring – but it wasn’t enough to see Holly make any serious ground on the favourites and the former Neighbours star is still 9/1 to win the competition.

It’s starting to look very much like those four pairs will be the final four left in the competition, with next favourite, Robbie Savage, out at 16/1.

If Harry keeps going the way he has been though, then it is extremely hard to see the drummer – who is popular with both the judges and the public – being defeated.
