GEORGIE THOMPSON is massively odds-on at just 1/4 with Ladbrokes to cry live on-air during her final Sky Sports News shift.

The TV presenter is 6/1 to receive an impromptu round of applause from Sky staff on Thursday as she takes her emotional bow on the channel.

Co-presenter Julian Warren is 5/1 to give his popular pal a ‘high five’ on set and Sky Sports News boss Andy Cairns is 20/1 to make a surprise appearance on screen with a bouquet of flowers for Thompson.

Georgie is just 3/1 to be trending worldwide on twitter before the weekend and is 150/1 to feature in the Queen’s New Years Honours list.

Ladbrokes have priced up a series of specials including just 3/1 that any guest makes a proposal of marriage to Thompson whilst she is on-air.

David Williams of Ladbrokes said: “Georgie has an enormous following. We’re fully expecting some on-screen antics as she waves goodbye to her loyal followers. We’re also on red alert for new accounts being opened in Isleworth.”

Thompson is 25/1 to perform a U-turn on her move to Formula One and announce that she is remaining at Sky Sports News in 2012.
