F1 Ferrari drive or retirement possible for Rossi in near future
Published:VALENTINO ROSSI is odds-on to retire after the 2014 Moto GP season, according to Ladbrokes.
The Doctor is rumoured to quit the sport in two years’ time and it’s 1/2 that he sticks to his word and (6/4) that the Italian carries on. Rossi is chalked up at 7/1 to win his eighth championship title this season and it’s 3/1 he’s victorious before the end of 2014.
The bookies also make Rossi a 10/1 shot to swap to the World Rally Championship and punters who fancy an outside flutter can back him to replace Ferrari’s Felipe Massa at 100/1.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “Rossi will be a huge loss when he retires. There’s no doubt punters would love to see him back in action – even on a different set of wheels.”
