Camelot offers punters greatest ‘no lose’ bet in history

| 15.09.2012

Camelot is tough to oppose to win the St Leger, but punters still having ground or stamina concerns have had these alleviated by arguably Ladbrokes’ best ever offer.

If Camelot is beaten in the St Leger and in the process fails to land the Triple Crown, some punters will be eligible to get their losing stakes back as a free bet.

The conditions are that the bets must be placed between 9am and 2pm on St Leger race day and the maximum refund per punter is £20.

All Ladbrokes customers can benefit from the promotion, but it is limited to just the one bet per customer.

For full terms and conditions, see here.

Camelot is bidding to become just the third horse to achieve the Triple Crown since the First World War, following his earlier successes this season in the 2,000 Guineas at Newmarket and the Epsom Derby.

The first of these over 1m is widely considered to have been the least suited to Camelot’s strengths, but it is the St Leger over close to double the distance of 1m6f, that tends to upset many Triple Crown challenges.

Emma Spencer rounded things off nicely in the video above, with the statement “Camelot is surely destined to become as mythical as the castle whose name he shares”.
