Worth opposing Christopher to be named X Factor wildcard

Times Red have already bounced back from the dead once and can take advantage of another second chance at 10/1 to take the one wildcard spot on the X Factor live shows.

The boyband initially did not make it through to the judges house stage, but were given a reprieve when Rough Copy were unable to travel to sing again for Louis Walsh because of a visa issue.

Again they failed to make the top three in the groups category to guarantee a spot in the live shows, but Louis did give Times Red another opportunity to progress by naming them as his wildcard.

Louis does already have two boybands in his group, but being that bit older, Times Red may appeal to a different target audience.

They also seem to have a bit more personality than their competition among the wildcards.

Christopher Maloney is the 2/5 favourite to be the wildcard winner, but his story has already been a regular focal point of X Factor shows.

The focus on how nervous he gets and the fact that he has a sob story may have already begun to irritate some X Factor viewers and they may decide to send their votes elsewhere as a result.

However, he is from Liverpool and this is a location that has typically achieved good results on the show.

Amy Mottram is 5/2 to win the wildcard vote and she is potentially the best singer of the four.

Being from Essex should be a positive in her favour, but having a powerful voice alone may not be enough to see her make it through.

The final wildcard act is Adam Burridge from the boys category and he is the outsider to make it through at 20/1 to give Nicole Scherzinger a fourth chance of overall victory in her first series as a mentor.
