India to seal the series deal with convincing win in Mohali

India battered England for the second straight one-day international to take a 2-1 lead in the series and victory in Mohali will ensure that advantage becomes unassailable.

Normal service has long-since been resumed after England’s surprise opening-game success and it would take a very brave so and so to lump on their 6/4 to tie up the five-match series, with the hosts’ 8/15 looking like free money.

In addition to their excellent bowling condition, they’ve won their previous two matches at the Punjab Association Cricket Stadium – the most recent being a five-wicket triumph over England – after losing three on the spin at this venue.
