Lampard can fire for England in 66/1 home nations accumulator

Published:

With all four home nations in World Cup qualifying action, we’ve carefully selected a bet to accompany each match which would pay out 66/1 as an accumulator.

England v Moldova: Frank Lampard to score anytime in @ 5/4
After a strong start to the season for Chelsea in which he’s played every minute of their four games, as well as scoring against Hull, Roy Hodgson will do well to leave Lampard out at Wembley. Furthermore, England’s main penalty taker, who notched twice against Moldova in the return fixture, is one of the only usual suspects to be odds-against to notch with Ladbrokes.

FYR Macedonia v Wales: Goals scored in both halves: No @ 4/5
Without Gareth Bale in their side Wales will struggle for penetration against fellow Group A also-rans Macedonia, as Real Madrid’s new man is responsible for four out of six Welsh goals to date. With only nine goals registered between them in a combined 12 qualifiers to date, a goal-fest is highly unlikely.

Northern Ireland v Portugal: Under 2.5 goals @ 3/4
Northern Ireland may not be in line to qualify for Brazil, but they’ve certainly put the cat amongst the pigeons with recent results. Russia were the latest victims, going down 1-0 at Windsor Park, while Portugal were frustrated by Michael O’Neill’s side in Lisbon, as they were held to a 1-1 draw.

Republic of Ireland v Sweden: The Draw @ 9/4
These nations have already cancelled each other out in Stockholm with a stalemate and are now in real danger of cancelling out each other’s qualification hopes. They are locked on 11 points apiece after mirroring exactly the other nation’s results to this point and have almost the same goal difference to boot.

Scotland v Belgium: Belgium to win to nil @ 19/10
The Scottish renaissance under wee Gordon Strachan was dented by England in their last friendly and they won’t get an easy ride against this Belgium side, unbeaten at the top of Group A. Belgium have dropped just two points from their seven matches and ominously, only conceded twice too.
