Arsenal to hit West Brom’s net at least twice at Hawthorns

| 05.10.2013

Just a week or so after entertaining them in the Capital One Cup, it’s unlucky West Brom’s turn to host the flying Gunners once again and the stats suggest Arsenal can bag another couple at the Hawthorns.

Arsenal make the most unwelcome of guests anywhere they go at present, such is their exquisite form, especially on the road.

Excluding their recent penalty-shoot-out triumph at this very ground – which saw Arsene Wenger field a completely different side to the one that has propelled them to the Premier League summit – Arsenal have won their other five away matches in all competitions, scoring at least twice on each occasion.

This prolific run alone is enough to make the 11/10 on Arsenal to score another 2-3 goals at the Hawthorns one of the choicest cuts available at Ladbrokes for would-be punters.

This eventuality gains yet more credibility still, when you discover that this is something the Londoners have managed to achieve on their last four Premier League trips to the Baggies.

Meanwhile, twice in that sequence a West Brom goalkeeper has seen three goals fly past him, making the 21/10 on over 2.5 Arsenal goals again, another punt worthy of contemplation.

Nevertheless, the scoring in this fixture has not been limited to the Gunners alone. Both teams have found the net at the Hawthorns in the last four Premier League meetings, making the 3/5 on this outcome reoccurring, a decent-looking cover bet.

Furthermore, all four of those games have seen the 2.5 goals line breached – rated at 4/5 here by Ladbrokes – while three of the last four have busted the 3.5 goals marker, bringing into play the more attractive 19/10 on at least four goals being scored.
