Goal heavy Real Madrid lead 10/1 midweek La Liga treble

Published:

Autumn may have arrived in the UK but over in Spain things are still sizzling with this week’s La Liga action offering a red hot trio of tips that takes in wins for Real Madrid, Valencia and Real Sociedad.

With goals the main order of the day, backing three of the Spanish top-flight’s finest for midweek victories offers rich rewards, with odds of just over 10/1 available.

Real Sociedad to beat Valladolid @ 6/4

Both these sides head into this encounter off the back of resounding 3-0 victories in La Liga, but it’s the visitors Sociedad who look the more likely to claim a win.

For starters, it is important to remember that Valladolid’s solitary recent success came against a lowly and out-of-form Rayo Vallecano and was their first three-point haul in seven league fixtures.

La Real, meanwhile, will be riding high after back-to-back wins and have a fine record against their opponents, having gone unbeaten in five, winning the last meeting between the pair 4-1.

Valencia to win and over 2.5 goals to be scored against Almeria @ 21/20

Los Che suffered a hiding at the hands of Villarreal last time out, but they will remain confident of a high scoring victory over bottom club Almeria, a team that has lost five in a row and has yet to win this term.

The visitors have shipped two or more goals in nine of their 10 fixtures in La Liga this season and head into this encounter fresh from a 3-0 trouncing by Sociedad.

And there is every reason to think that the goals will continue to flow in the wrong direction against Valencia, a team that has won four of their previous five meetings, with three of those victories featuring over 2.5 goals.

Real Madrid to win and over 3.5 goals to be scored against Sevilla @ evens

Real Madrid will be out for blood following their 2-1 defeat to Barcelona and a home encounter with a Sevilla team that travels very badly could be just the ticket.

The Andalusian club have yet to record a top-flight victory away from home this season, with the team currently on a 22-game winless streak on the road in La Liga.

Real also have a fine record against Unai Emery’s team, winning four of the last five meetings between the two, with over 3.5 goals scored in three of these victories.
