Man City and England’s Joe Hart fancied to hit form soon

Published:

Under fire Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart will keep his first clean sheet in four matches for England against Montenegro according to Ladbrokes – but there’s money to be made if his poor form continues.

Having made several big mistakes in recent games against Bayern Munich and Everton, the stopper is 6/1 to concede in every game he could play in October.

However, Hart and his defence are fancied to stop Montenegro from scoring in their crucial World Cup qualifier on Friday and Ladbrokes are quoting 10/11 that he keeps a clean sheet in that game.

Hart did fail to stop Montenegro scoring in their last meeting though, so perhaps there is more value to be found further down the line.

It’s 5/1 he concedes in both home internationals before repelling West Ham in the league at Upton Park, with Moscow 8/1 to be the next venue for a clean sheet.

Despite his poor form, Joe Hart remains the shortest priced player in the England World Cup squad betting at 1/50.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “Hart didn’t do much wrong bar conceding the early goal against Everton and we’re confident he’ll get his clean sheet against lesser opposition in the international break.”
