Man City just 6/1 to hit Plzen for six next in Champions League

Manchester City’s 6-0 win over Tottenham not only moved them back to the head of the Premier League betting at 9/5 to win the title this season, it also increased their goals-scored column to 37 at the Etihad from just nine games in all competitions.

Manuel Pellegrini’s team have been especially rampant in recent weeks, averaging six goals per game in their last three home fixtures.

Czech outfit Viktoria Plzen are the next visitors in the Champions League and it is 6/1 that Man City put at least six goals past the Group D whipping boys, who are only one of two teams in the competition still waiting for their first point.

Plzen’s last road trip was not memorable for the right reasons either, going down 5-0 to Bayern Munich in a game where the Champions League holders fired in 35 shots in the 90 minutes, hitting the target with 22 of them.

Matus Kozacik is guaranteed another busy night between the sticks at the Etihad, with City scoring five in their last home game in the competition, against CSKA Moscow.

He has already had to pick the ball out of his net three times against Man City this season, in Plzen, and this was against a City team that have proved themselves to be poor travellers in the current campaign.

It is pretty impossible not to expect Man City at least repeating their 3-0 success from their visit to the Czech Republic and 8/11 is the price that they score over 2.5 goals again.

Other appealing prices include the 6/5 that Man City win a game that sees over 3.5 goals scored and the 5/6 that Edin Dzeko scores at any time in the 90 minutes, as he is virtually assured a start with Man City already through to the knockout stages.
