Our editors’ bets: Napoli to score twice at home is nailed on

Published:

One out of four winning bets last week was not the greatest return, but we’ll try and make amends again this week with a two from two success.

Napoli to score 2/3 goals v Catania @1/1

After veering wildly off the winning trail last week we’re attempting to get back onto the beaten track with this offering from Serie A.

Rafa Benitez’ Napoli have only let in one goal and dropped a single point from their five home games in Italy’s top division so far.

What’s more, all four of their other Serie A wins at the San Paolo have seen them notch at least twice, including a 2-0 and a 4-0 most recently.

Next up, are a struggling Catania side ripe for the picking, who have lost all five of their away games to date, including a 4-0 thumping against Juventus in their last Serie A fixture.

Back Over 2.5 goals in PSG v Lorient @ 8/13

Again, not the most daring of bets, however winning is the name of the game and this particular outcome would have landed in all five of PSG’s games in all competitions.

When the French champions can boast attacking talents as plentiful as Zlatan Ibrahimovich and Edinson Cavani, it’s hardly surprising that they regularly swat aside the smaller teams in Ligue 1.

Falling firmly into that category next up for the Parisians are Lorient. France’s 18th place side have let in eight in their last three games ahead of this trip to the Parc de Princes.
