Monaco goalfest leads Friday night European predictions

There’s a truly continental feeling to Friday’s accumulator picks with French league giants Monaco available alongside picks from Spain, Germany and Holland.

Offering odds of just under 10/1, read on to find out how you can get the weekend started early.

Monaco (-1) to beat Valenciennes @ 3/4

After a brief blip in early November, Claudio Ranieri’s side have returned to form in recent weeks and head into this clash off the back of five straight wins in Ligue 1.

Though heavy favourites to beat a Valenciennes team currently third from bottom and without a win in seven, a handicap result offers the best value particularly as Monaco have won three of their last four by two goals or more.

With their opponents shipping two goals in two of their last three league fixtures, back Falcao and the gang to find the net on more than a few occasions here.

Elche v Malaga – both teams to score @ 17/20

Neither of these sides have been in particularly good form of late in La Liga but one thing you can count on when they come together is goals at either end.

Elche have been one of the surprise packages in Spain and though they have tailed off in recent weeks, winning just one of their last four, the goals continue to flow with the minnows scoring in three of their last four in the division.

Malaga have proven similarly porous defensively and head into this encounter off the back of three score draws in their last four games. It all points to the very real prospect of both teams finding the net.

Augsburg to score first vs Eintracht Frankfurt @ 11/10

It’s a tale of contrasting fortunes at the Commerzbank-Arena, with hosts Eintracht Frankfurt still struggling at the wrong end of the table, while pre-season relegation candidates Augsburg soar high up in eighth.

One of the root causes of Frankfurt’s struggles in the Bundesliga of late has been their inability to get firing from the kick-off, with the hosts conceding the opening goal in each of their last three fixtures.

As such, an Augsburg team bang in form and looking for a third consecutive win in the division should be backed to open the scoring here.

RKC Waalwijk vs Twente – over 2.5 goals 4/7

Twente’s record in the Eredivisie sets them out as one of the form sides in the Dutch top-flight and though they look nailed on at 2/5 for a win here, backing goals aplenty against lowly Waalwijk is a more reliable prospect.

Fourth-from-bottom they may be, but RKC have actually gone four games unbeaten, though they continue to leak goals, with five shipped in their last three games.

Their high-flying opponents will be confident of adding to that tally come Friday, having scored a whopping 12 across four consecutive victories in the division.
