Can Casey sympathy halt Jim’s march to CBB glory?

Jim Davidson’s odds of winning this year’s Celebrity Big Brother are getting shorter by the day, with the comedian now priced at 2/7 to be crowned king of the Channel 5 reality show.

The only real threat to Davidson’s throne appeared to be a potential delayed backlash from his tumultuous relationship with Linda Nolan.

However, with the former Big Break star patching things up with Nolan’s number one confidant – Luisa Zissman – the 60-year-old looks nailed on to win the show.

One man who will definitely not win though, is Blue love rat Lee Ryan who, despite being the early favourite, has now been unceremoniously booted out of the house.

The ‘One Love’ singer’s bed-hopping antics – which saw him switch his affections between US actress Jasmine Waltz and UK glamour girl Casey Batchelor – ensured he was the least popular of the remaining housemates and thus kicked out in a surprise eviction.

Despite the harsh way in which she has been treated, Batchelor remains the rank outsider to win the show at 66/1 and while the title looks like being Davidson’s to lose, the model’s odds warrant a small stake at least just in case a rush of sympathy votes flood in.

This could well be the case with CBB due to air an emotional meeting between Bachelor and her mum, in which the model is informed of Lee’s backstabbing ways.

Prior to Ryan’s dismissal he was made to squirm as Batchelor senior entered the house and warned her daughter to decline the lothario’s advances, saying “he’s been mugging you off, stay clear of him”.

At odds of 6/1 Made in Chelsea’s Ollie Locke and N-Dubz rapper Dappy remain Davidson’s biggest rivals – as far as the betting is concerned – but with Casey’s tears set to flow a punt on the underdog could be worth a shout.
