The Colts and Eagles look set to extend season past

Indianapolis Colts to beat Kansas City Chiefs @ 4/5
The Indianapolis Colts have come into form at exactly the right time with Chuck Pagano’s side winning their last three games while conceding only 20 points in the process.
One of those victories was over the Kansas City Chiefs in the middle of December when they ran out 23-7 winners on the road and odds of 4/5 that they can frank that form look worth taking.
A recent check of the records of Super Bowl winners showed that it was those who caught fire at the right time that went on to lift the Lombardi Trophy and it is understandable why the Colts’ camp are in such high spirits following their recent run.
And although the Chiefs knew they were assured of a wildcard place, the fact that they have lost their last two games is still far from ideal preparation.
Andrew Luck was excellent throughout, passing for 241 yards and another performance like that from last year’s number one draft pick would spell trouble again for the Chiefs.
Back the Colts to keep the fire burning at 4/5.
Philadelphia Eagles to beat New Orleans Saints @ 20/29
The Philadelphia Eagles come into this game having lost only one match since the end of October and the second best offence in the league look set to make it count with quarterback Nick Foles firing on all cylinders.
Foles’ childhood hero, Drew Brees, will attempt to fire back with some of his own magic, however, with his team struggling in the lead up to this game it might be left to the younger man and his team to take the plaudits.
The Saints have struggled on the road this winter with three successive losses away from the Superdome and although they knew they were assured of a play-off place it would have hurt that they couldn’t get the job done, finish top and avoid an extra round of the post-season gauntlet altogether.
As a result the potentially contrasting mindsets of the teams gives the Eagles the advantage and although there is no doubt that Brees will feel the more at ease with the occasion than his opposite number, Foles has shown throughout the season that he can perform when needed most.
Take the 20/29 on Foles and the Eagles getting it done in Philly.
