Messi hits form just at the right time for Ladbrokes customers!

| 17.02.2014

Lionel Messi has hit form at just the right time after his two goals helped Barcelona to a 6-0 win over Rayo Vallecano and that could spell good news for Ladbrokes customers.

The bookmaker will refund all losing stakes on the correct score, first goalscorer and scorecast markets for Manchester City v Barcelona if the diminutive Argentinean scores the first goal of the game at the Etihad Stadium.

Despite an injury plagued campaign the 26-year-old has still found the back of the net 19 times in 20 appearances for the Catalan giants this season.

And with five goals in his last three games, the Argentina forward, who is 7/2 to strike first against the Citizens with Ladbrokes, has found his scoring touch once again.

Messi has only featured in three of Gerardo Martino’s Champions League games this season but in the victories against Ajax and AC Milan at the Nou Camp he opened the scoring on both occasions.

The Barca star also opened the scoring for his side at the San Siro but Robinho put Milan ahead after just nine minutes on the clock.

On two occasions this term Messi has fired the opening goal of the game in La Liga and if he can repeat the trick at the Etihad it promises to be a money back night at Ladbrokes!

Barcelona, who have won just one of their six past six away in the Champions League, are 7/5 to beat Manuel Pellegrini’s side but they will have to overcome a poor record against English sides on the road.

The Spanish side have not one in five matches on English soil which will inspire huge confidence in a City side, who are 9/1 to take a 2-1 lead to the Nou Camp.

And if Yaya Toure can fire the first goal against his former club in a 2-1 victory Ladbrokes are offering odds of 60/1, but remember if Messi ruins your bet by scoring first it’s money back joy on selected losing bets.
