The Holland international, who has hit 11 goals this season, left the north London club in acrimonious circumstances in the summer of 2012 and the manner of his departure left a bad taste in the mouth for Arsenal fans.
But if the Dutch striker reproduces the goal scoring form which has seen him break the 30-goal barrier in the past two seasons the Gunners faithful could be celebrating plenty of silverware in the next few years.
