Home powerhouses Porto and Juve backed in Europa League double

Hot on the coat tails of the Champions League, it’s the Europa League’s turn to take over the airwaves and to enhance your viewing pleasure why not consider this double on two of the continent’s strongest home outfits.

Combining victories for Juventus and Porto in their respective Europa League last-16 ties pays out at a shade north of 3/1.

Porto to beat Napoli @ 5/4 – ITV 4 18:00

Porto’s record at the Estadio do Dragao in the Primeira Liga is virtually impeccable this season, where they’ve only dropped four points from 11 outings.

The Portuguese title holders have also been prolific in their own stadium of late, scoring at least twice in six out of their last seven outings.

Although fellow Champions League drop-outs Napoli will provide tough opposition, the Italians have looked laboured on their continental travels this season.

Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund easily exploited the Italians’ travel sickness in the group stages and Swansea had the better of them during their 0-0 in Wales in the previous round.

Juventus to beat Fiorentina @ 2/5 – BT Sport 1 20:05

Fiorentina may be the only side to have beaten them in Serie A this season, but that wasn’t in Turin where the Florence-based outfit came a cropper only four days ago.

In typically clinical fashion Juventus prevailed without conceding in a 1-0 victory to keep themselves well clear of the chasing pack in Serie A.

That made it 14/14 league triumphs at the Juventus Arena for the Old Lady this season and she shouldn’t have too much trouble repeating the trick against a patchy Fiorentina unit without a win in four across all competitions.

Juventus have the requisite fear factor at home to go all the way in this competition.
