Gallacher followed a commanding performance at Wentworth with a near-miss second at the Nordea Masters last time out; his third top-10 in his last four events.
Five top-10s already this season matches the Texan’s best effort as a pro, the last of which was three weeks back at Colonial. Proximity to the hole is a big stat given the amount of birdie putts sunk from inside 10 foot at Pinehurst, and Palmer ranks 22nd on Tour there.
