We bid farewell to the group phase of the World Cup in Brazil later but fear not because Ladbrokes has an enhanced treble offer designed to help punters go out with a bang.

Back pre-tournament contenders Germany, Belgium and Portugal to pick up expected wins against inferior opposition and you could claim a hefty return, with the odds on this tempting treble enhanced from 5/1 to 6/1 with the bookmakers.

With customers able to bet as much as £25 on these selections, it could add up to a return of £175 for the ambitious amongst you! Read on to get the lowdown on all three banker contests.

Portugal to beat Ghana @ 19/20

The Selecao need a big win to stand any chance of making the second round, though they will have been boosted by the news that star midfield pair Sulley Muntari and Kevin Prince-Boateng have been sent home with the Ghana squad in turmoil over a row regarding bonuses.

Portugal pipped Ivory Coast to qualification from the groups in 2010 and beat Cameroon 5-1 in a recent friendly, while they are unbeaten in 11 encounters with African sides.

Germany to beat USA @ 8/13

Though much of the pre-match talk has been of the teams potentially agreeing to draw the game in a result that would see both go through, Germany will be desperate to avoid a repeat of the infamous 1982 Shame of Gijon incident when they played for a result that put themselves and Austria through.

Still a sore point for Die Mannschaft, Germany will be keen to leave nothing to chance against a USA team that beat a second-string Germany team 4-3 in a recent friendly. Prior to that Joachim Loew’s team had won three in a row against the Americans and normal service should resume here.

Belgium to beat Korea Republic @ 8/11

Korea Republic are in danger of becoming the whipping boys of this World Cup following a 4-2 defeat to Algeria, while Belgium will be keen to maintain momentum with a third win in the group stage against arguably the weakest opposition in their pool.

Marc Wilmots will also be all-too-aware that failure to win, coupled with an Algeria victory, could see them finish second, potentially setting up a World Cup-ending clash with old foes Germany.
