European football accumulator: Marseille and Dortmund delight

| 28.08.2014

Saturday may be the day traditionally set aside for football up and down the land but the eagle-eyed among you will also know Friday serves up its fair share of on-the-pitch action for anyone itching to get an accumulator on before the big 3pm kick-offs the next day.

This Friday is no different, with a veritable feast of fixtures on the cards including games featuring such familiar names as Dortmund, Marseille, Valencia and…Willem II.

Backing this fantastic foursome of teams on the continent to pick up wins could leave you celebrating long into the night too with this accumulator available at odds of just over 11/1 with Ladbrokes.

Willem II to beat Go Ahead Eagles @ 11/5

The only away side to feature, Willem II nevertheless make the cut after impressing with a 3-0 win over AZ Alkmaar last time out in the Eredivisie. They will be confident of victory over a Go Ahead Eagles side without a win in three too, having triumphed 3-1 on their last visit to De Adelaarshorst.

Dortmund to beat Augsburg @ 8/13

After a shock 2-0 loss at home to Leverkusen in the opening weekend, Dortmund will need to bounce back quickly and a trip to Augsburg, who also lost 2-0 to Hoffenheim, could be just the ticket. Jurgen Klopp’s team won 4-0 on their last visit to the SGL Arena too, which helps.

Marseille to beat Nice @ 8/15

The Bielsa revolution finally got going with a hard-fought 1-0 victory away at Guingamp last Saturday and we fully expect Marseille to come out on top here against a Nice team smarting from a recent 3-1 home loss to Bordeaux and without key striker Dario Cvitanich.

Valencia to beat Malaga @ 3/5

Los Che left it late to find an equaliser against Sevilla last time out but after escaping Andalusia with a point, Valencia will fancy their chances against a visiting side with a poor record at the Mestalla. All told, Malaga have lost in each of their last five trips to Valencia and could be in trouble again here.
