Bayer Leverkusen v W. Bremen: Goals in store at BayArena

Published:

Fresh from their narrow 2-1 victory over Scotland, some of Germany’s finest will be in action this Friday with Bayer Levekusen taking on Werder Bremen and, with all the action live on ESPN, we’ve got some great tips on offer.

The hosts head into the game as 3/10 favourites for victory with the draw priced at 4/1 with the Ladbrokes and a Bremen win available at 9/1 with the bookmaker.

Ahead of kick-off, we have three great bet tips for anyone considering a flutter on this mouth-watering Bundesliga clash – there are worse ways to spend a Friday night.

Over 3.5 total goals to be scored @ 21/20

The BayArena faithful have been treated to some goal-tastic displays of late, with Leverkusen putting four past Copenhagen at the ground in the Champions League and another four past Hertha Berlin in the Bundesliga.

Though the 11/5 offered on four or more Leverkusen goals may tempt, we recommend you play it safe, with Bremen likely to provide a sterner test. That said, Leverkusen won 2-0 in Dortmund earlier this season, so we see there being a few goals here.

Karim Bellarabi to score anytime @ 6/5

Though the obvious choice for an anytime goalscorer tip is Stefan Kiessling, who has scored four in their last four competitive games, the 3/4 odds offering on the German answer to Peter Crouch puts us off.

Instead, his teammate Karim Bellarabi looks the more worthy option, with the 24-year-old proving similarly prolific of late with goals in three of Leverkusen’s last four fixtures including a record-breaking opener in the opening seconds of their recent clash with Dortmund.

Bayer Leverkusen to win and both teams to score @ 8/5

Bremen may have failed to pick up a win so far this season in the Bundesliga, but they have shown themselves to be up for a fight, with two score-draws recorded from their previous two league fixtures going into this encounter.

Leverkusen came out on top last time these two met at the BayArena, though Werder did get on the scoresheet, and backing a similar outcome here – particularly after Hertha Berlins’ 4-2 loss at the ground – looks to be the bet of the day.
