European accumulator: Wolfsburg and Sevilla all set to star
There’s a bumper schedule of football going on across the continent this week with enough games to enjoy a bit of accumulator fun from Monday to Friday.
This Wednesday is no different, with many of the bright lights of La Liga, the Bundesliga, Serie A and Ligue 1 in action and offering some fantastic betting opportunities.
Backing Wolfsburg, Sevilla, PSG and Verona to pick up wins, for instance, comes highly recommended with victories for all four available as part of a 12/1 accumulator with Ladbrokes.
Read on to find out why you won’t want to miss out on this one.
The Wolves picked up their first Bundesliga win of the season in some style last time out, hammering Bayer Leverkusen 4-1 at the Volkswagen Arena to get their campaign up and running.
Hertha, meanwhile, have picked up just two points from their opening four games in the league and, with 11 goals conceded during that period, could struggle against a Wolfsburg side that has won each of the previous four meetings between the clubs.
The sale of Juan Iturbe to AS Roma has done little to stem Verona’s meteoric rise in Serie A with the Gialloblu riding high in the league after two wins and a draw from their opening three fixtures
Andrea Mandorlini’s team host a Genoa side that has a poor record away from home in the Italian top-flight with just one win from their last 14 Serie A games played on the road. Verona won 3-0 last time the two met at Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi and should be backed to win again.
A return of 10 points from the first 12 available has got some people talking of a potential title tilt to rival Atletico Madrid’s last term but if Sevilla are to launch any kind of challenge on the big two then a win over a Sociedad team with one win from four in La Liga is crucial.
Fortunately the Andalusians could not be in better form, having won each of their last four competitive games as part of an unbeaten start to the season and they came out on top the last time the two met at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium.
The Parisiens may be enduring a run of three straight draws going into this away trip to Caen but the low calibre of the opposition involved in this fixture makes the Ligue 1 champions an obvious addition to boost your winnings.
Caen have won just one of their five league fixtures so far this term and have lost both of their previous fixtures at the Stade Michel d’Ornano this season. More importantly, PSG are unbeaten in six against the hosts, winning five and drawing once.
