Ebor third Elidor will also have a few friends in the betting ring, however it’s the Lady Cecil-trained RETIREMENT PLAN who grabs us.
The four-year-old colt showed his middle-distance pedigree when taking the spoils in a handicap at Ascot on Shergar Cup day.
And a creditable fifth in the subsequent Ebor can’t be discounted.
In an attempt to try and catch the bookies out we’ve examined this extremely tricky handicap!
Danzeno stands out following his Group 3 victory at Newcastle on his previous appearance and the three-year-old could certainly have the edge over his older rivals.
But rather than go with the obvious we’re sticking our neck on the line with POOLE HARBOUR our selection here.
On the best of last season’s form the David Nicholls-trained charge certainly has place claims while Shropshire and previous winner Sir Reginald should also be prominent.
