NFL: 3 teams that could go all the way this year

The start of the 2014 NFL season will kick-off later this week as Green Bay take on Seattle at Century Link Field.
Both franchises are being tipped for big things over the coming campaign with the Seahawks 6/1 second favourites to win the Super Bowl and the Packers ranked fifth in the betting at 12/1.
However, it is Denver who are the early favourites and here Ladbrokes News’ James Curtis runs the rule over the Broncos and a couple of better value tips.
With Peyton manning pulling the strings yet again the Broncos continue to boast one of – if not the – strongest offensive lines in the league.
It is the bolstered defence though that has tipsters purring, with TJ Ward, Aqib Talib and DeMarcus Ware all coming in during the off-season.
Add in the return from injury of left tackle Ryan Clady and the Broncos have a squad that will be the envy of most others in the league.
While the Broncos starters are arguably the league’s strongest the Patriots strength lies in their squad depth.
The Pats have adequate cover for just about everybody on the field barring Tom Brady and provided the star quarter-back can avoid injury New England will be competing when it comes to the business end of the post-season.
Bill Belichick’s side have made it to the last two conference championship games with a squad that was overly reliant on the second string performing above expectations.
The re-signing of Julian Edelman, plus the additions of first-round pick Dominique Easley and Darrelle Revis from Tampa Bay, make the Pats a tempting pick.
San Francisco have gone to two NFC Championships and a Super Bowl in their last three seasons and after a busy off-season should be competing at the top end yet again.
The 49ers boast one of the best defensive lines in the league and in Colin Kaepernick have a quarter-back on the rise.
The addition of Stevie Johnson from Buffalo, who ran over 1,000 yards for three consecutive years for the Bills, should elevate a team looking to secure what could be a last shot at Super Bowl glory for the likes of Frank Gore, Anquan Boldin and Justin Smith.
