Euro 2016 Qualifying Accumulator: Greece and Romania ready

| 14.10.2014

The six-day football betting feast that is Euro 2016 qualifying comes to an end this Tuesday and it’s with a heavy heart that Ladbrokes presents its final instalment of the international football accumulator series.

Friday night’s offering will have brought many happy returns for punters who backed the 30/1 fourfold while Lithuania were the only side to let down Sunday night’s efforts.

Available at 11/1, our latest accumulator does not disappointment – unless you are fans of either Northern Ireland or Gibraltar – with a fourfold featuring wins for Romania and Greece among others. Read on for all the important details.

Romania to beat Finland @ 31/20

Romania started qualification with a credible 1-0 win in Greece and looked on course for maximum points against Hungary until a late equaliser from Balazs Dzsudzsak spoilt the party in Bucharest.

Despite Finland escaping Greece with a point, we are predicting a win for the away side with the Finns proving defensively frail of late, having previously conceded to group minnows, the Faroe Islands.

Greece to beat Northern Ireland @ 1/2

Currently top of their group following wins over Hungary and the Faroe Islands, Northern Ireland could come crashing back down to earth against Claudio Ranieri’s work-in-progress Greece outfit.

Romania were only the third team to win in Greece when the teams met in their group opener and with the visitors winning just five competitive games on the road over the past decade, Ethniki should have enough to pick up all three points.

Serbia to beat Albania @ 8/15

Serbia rescued a valuable point late on against Armenia last time out and now back on home soil will be determined to put giant-killing Albania to the sword in Belgrade.

The Albanians were minutes away from defeating Denmark last time out at home but could struggle to break down a talented Serbian side that has lost just one of their last 12 internationals at home.

Georgia (-2) to beat Gibraltar @ 21/20

Despite suffering back-to-back defeats to the Republic of Ireland and Scotland, Georgia can count themselves unlucky not to have taken at least a point from one of those two games and boss Temuri Ketsbaia will be determined to pick up three points against the group whipping boys here.

Fresh from heavy 7-0 losses to Poland and Ireland, there are worse times to be facing qualification new boys and given their obvious defensive frailties, Georgia should be confident of finding the net at least three times.
