It took a while but the 24-year-old finally got off the mark for the Scottish champions last time out in the Europa League with a goal in their 2-1 win over Astra at Celtic Park.
Having followed that goal up with another in the Hoops’ 2-0 win over a solid Kilmarnock side in the league we fancy the Serbian to score, in the absence of John Guidetti, as part of a win for the Bhoys.
Ronny Deila’s side showed they would be no walkovers away from Parkhead last time out on the road in the Europa League with a 2-2 draw against Red Bull Salzburg in a game that, in truth, Celtic probably should have won.
Having won their previous two away games in the Scottish Premiership, the Hoops will be hopeful of matching Salzburg’s 2-1 win in Romania a few weeks back and with Astra scoring and conceding in three of their last five home games – as well as shipping goals in the other two – this price tempts.
The goals have started to flow for the Hoops this term and after netting twice last time out against Astra in the Europa League, we fancy them to enjoy a similar return here, having romped to a 6-0 win against Partick Thistle in the Scottish League Cup last week.
