However, neither of these things make our list of five things we are looking forward to in gameweek 13 of Premier League fixtures. Below are the things that do.

Will Diego Costa get booked in another away game?

Costa is one booking away from a one game suspension after receiving four yellow cards so far, meaning he will miss the London derby with Tottenham if cautioned at Sunderland.

There is a strong chance he will be too, as he has played in four top-flight games away from Stamford Bridge so far and been booked in them all.

Will Stoke score at Anfield for the first time in the Premier League?

Stoke have travelled to Liverpool six times in the Premier League previously and have still not given their supporters a goal to celebrate.

The fact they have scored in nine of their last 10 games in all competitions generates optimism, while Liverpool are without a clean sheet in six and have a goalkeeper that appears to be struggling for confidence.

Will Steve Bruce roll over for Man Utd again?

Having represented Manchester United over 300 times as a player, it is no real surprise that Bruce has an affinity with the club. However, continually handing them points perhaps takes this kinship too far.

Bruce has faced the Red Devils 20 times as a manager, is still waiting for a win and has only drawn on four occasions.

Betting on Man Utd doing the business at Old Trafford against Hull at 2/7 seems one of the safer bets of the weekend.

Will Olivier Giroud start for Arsenal?

Danny Welbeck wasn’t fit enough to make the Arsenal bench against Borussia Dortmund and although Yaya Sanogo scored the opener, seeing him lead the line twice in a week looks on the optimistic side.

Giroud has only played 13 minutes since his return from a broken leg but did score against Man Utd and got the only goal in a Gunners victory over West Brom last season.

He is 13/10 to net in the 90 minutes against the Baggies again.

Will Aston Villa can take some shots against Burnley?

Aston Villa sit bottom of the Premier League in all of the following statistics this season – goals scored, shots, shots on target, shot conversion rate, shooting accuracy and chances created.

If they have any ambition on turning around these figures, a showdown with Burnley looks the most likely to bring a revival.
