FC Zurich lead the way in our Europa League goal-fest accumulator

| 27.11.2014

Gameweek four of the Europa league was a relative goal-fest, with the 24 games averaging 3.16 goals apiece, so with that in mind we are hoping for more of the same in the latest round of fixtures.

The scramble to make it out of the Group Stage is on, and we have found a quartet of matches that could deliver on goal-mouth action.

Take a look at our tasty over 2.5 goals fourfold that pays out at over 7/1.

FC Zurich v Apollon Limassol @ 2/3

Having played out a 3-2 thriller when these two met in Cyprus, we know exactly what to expect.

Things could be even more frantic with both sides knowing a draw will not be much help as they look to remain in the running for a last 32 spot.

Six of Zurich’s last eight Europa League ties have seen three or more goals, while the Limassol outfit have conceded four or more in three of their last four travels on the continent, netting three times themselves in the other.

Tottenham v FK Partizan @ 8/13

Hopefully ‘Harry Kane Thursdays’ continue in full swing at White Hart Lane with Spurs looking to book a spot in the next round with a victory here.

The sides played out a goalless draw when they met last month, but there will be a key change this time around.

Partzan’s main man up top, Petar Skuletic, was suspended for the encounter in Belgrade, but having scored 15 goals in 18 appearances in all competitions this season, is just the man to help us on our way over 2.5 goals.

Celtic v Red Bull Salzburg @ 1/2

One man, Jonathan Soriano, could be all it takes to do the business here.  With six goals in his last four games, the Spaniard has been one of the reasons Salzburg have netted four or more strikes 11 times this season already.

And with a goalscoring average of nearly a strike a game in Europe, Soriano is more than capable of bagging against Celtic.

Alongside the man known simply as Alan, goals could be on the cards at Celtic Park, after the sides drew 2-2 in the reverse fixture.

Slovan Bratislava v Young Boys @ 4/5

Bratislava have the leakiest defence in the Europa League this season, conceding 14 goals from their four games to date, and it could be about to get worse.

Young Boys stuck five past the Slovakian side back in September and even with home advantage this time it is hard to envisage Jozef Chovanec’s team keeping them to less than two.

The Bern outfit will be desperate to rack up a few goals here with progression from Group I potentially being settled on goal difference.
