It’s tight at the top of the Strictly Come Dancing leaderboard

Published:

We are reaching the business end of the competition with Strictly Come Dancing heading into week 10 and it’s tough to separate some of the celebrities with the standard being so high this year!

But, in the eyes of Ladbrokes News, there are three contestants standing out and the judges are struggling to separate them at the top of the leaderboard.

Ladbrokes are also predicting a tight race for the Glitterball trophy between Pixie Lott, Frankie Bridge and Jake Wood so here is a rundown of their latest performances and the latest odds…

Pixie Lott @ 9/4

Another impressive week for the popstar as her Charleston with partner Trent Whiddon earned rave reviews from the judges and audiences alike.

But it was not good enough to dislodge either Jake or Frankie from top spot, although Pixie is still the 9/4 favourite to land the spoils as we head into the business end of the competition.

Jake Wood @ 11/4

Jake ‘Snake Hips’ Wood is back and on top of the leaderboard after his Samba routine scored 38 out of 40, including his first two perfect scores of the series.

Dancing to Los Del Rio’s Spanish dance hit the Macarena, the Eastenders actor put in the classic moves we all love and know alongside some furious twerking to leap back into the race for the Glitterball trophy! Ay!

Frankie Bridge @ 5/2

The Saturdays star was certainly not left in a spin on Saturday night as she left the judges purring for more with Viennese Waltz to the Tom Jones hit What’s New Pussycat?

The routine, choreographed by Frankie’s professional partner Kevin Clifton, scored 38 with judges Craig, Darcey, Len and Bruno to put her joint top of the leaderboard alongside Jake and keep her as second favourite to win the BBC1 show.
