Spurs enhanced to win at Hull with both teams scoring!

Published:

The bookies have stretched the odds on a Spurs victory with both teams scoring from 13/4 out to 9/2 when the Londoners pay a visit to Humberside.

Conceding goals is something both sides have been doing far too much for their respective managers’ likings during the first part of the season too.

Steve Bruce’s Tigers couldn’t have looked less like the ferocious, jungle-dwelling beasts their name nickname suggests for some time now, more domestic moggies, following a miserable run of form.

Winless in four games, Hull have lost their last two and have only picked up seven of the last 27 available points, while they haven’t hit the net in three either.

Worrying times for the 15th-place side, though only Southampton have prevented Hull from finding the net at the KC this season across all competitions.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side cannot buy a clean sheet in the league either, where they’ve conceded nine times in their last four matches.

Nonetheless, Spurs did win 2-1 the last time they took to the road in the Premier League at Aston Villa and hold a fine recent record over Hull.

Spurs are unbeaten against Hull in five prior clashes in the league, winning on two of their last three trips to the KC Stadium.

With their opponents in such poor form, a third successive win away from the pressure of White Hart Lane appears to be on the cards.
