Strictly: Support behind Caroline Flack continues as the weeks tick by

So we are down to five, and the race for the Glitterball Trophy is really hotting up, but unless we suffer another Pixie-sized shock, this series looks a real three-way tie.

The contestants will really be put to the test when they are asked to perform not one, but two dances for the judges, their versatility.

Here’s how Ladbrokes bet in Strictly series 12.

Jake and Jannette – 7/4

The Eastenders star bounced back from a disappointing week in the last round and finds himself the slight favourite to beat the two pursuing ladies in the market.

He will take in the Viennese Waltz and the Cha-Cha as he aims to impress and maintain his position at the top of the market.

Caroline and Pasha – 2/1

The support for Caroline shows no sign of stopping, her odds of winning shortening from 5/2 into 2/1 in the last few days.

She has gone from being a real dark horse to a certified frontrunner. The absence of Pixie Lott further fuels the TV presenters chances of peaking at the right time in the final.

Frankie and Kevin – 9/4

The Saturday’s star’s performance last week was described as “a little rough around the edges” by Len Goodman, and it is clear she will need to improve this weekend to continue her challenge for the title.

She will be performing the Argentine Tango and Rumba as she looks to avoid being another shock exit for which she is 16/1.

Simon and Kristina – 12/1

The Blue singer described how he was worried when he was saved at Pixie’s expense; “I’m a bit a worried everyone’s going to hate me because a lot of people thought that Pixie was a better dancer and didn’t deserve to go”.

Well the market has certainly listened, and he has drifted from 8/1 to 12/1 to win the competition since Monday.

Mark and Karen – 16/1

The 4/6 favourite to be the next celebrity to be given the boot, Wright’s time looks finally like it will be up this weekend.

He has two very different dances to convince both the public and the judges in the Rumba and Viennese Waltz, that he is far from just an also-ran. Although winners odds of 16/1 certainly suggest otherwise.

Next celebrity to go odds:

Mark Wright – 4/6

Simon Webbe – 2/1

Jake Wood – 8/1

Caroline Flack – 12/1

Frankie Bridge – 16/1

All Odds and Markets are correct as of the date of publishing.
