FA Cup accumulator: West Ham lead home comforts fourfold

| 12.01.2015

The FA Cup returns again this midweek with the time-honoured tradition of the third round replay and with four games on the cards this Tuesday, we’re tipping up a fourfold featuring Premier League overachievers West Ham.

Facing off against Everton at Upton Park, the Hammers lead the way with in-form League One sides Bristol City and Chesterfield backed along with a Wolves team that has returned to winning ways of late in the Championship.

It all adds up to a 12/1 fourfold you won’t want to miss out on – read on to find out exactly why.

Bristol City to beat Doncaster @ 8/11

The Robins salvaged a draw at Keepmoat Stadium the first time these two met with Matt Smith scoring a crucial equaliser 15 minutes from time. Since then the on-loan Leeds man has scored a further five goals in just two more outings for City to make it nine goals in his last five games for his new club.

Steve Cotterill’s team romped to a 4-0 win over Notts County last time out at Ashton Gate and with Donny winless in three going into this one we could be on for a repeat of the 3-0 home win that played out the last time these two met at the ground.

Chesterfield to beat Scunthorpe @ 4/5

After mounting a superb comeback when trailing 2-0 away to Scunthorpe to draw 2-2, the Spireites will be the more confident of the two teams, having followed that result up with a fine 3-0 win over Port Vale at the Proact Stadium.

Scunny may have also celebrated victory over the weekend but after losing 4-1 to Chesterfield the last time the two teams met in Derbyshire, the League One strugglers could be in for a torrid evening.

West Ham to beat Everton @ 5/4

The Hammers were mere seconds away from dumping Everton out of the FA Cup at Goodison Park and while the Toffees will have been buoyed by Romelu Lukaku’s late equaliser and their subsequent draw with reigning champions Manchester City in the Premier League, it’s the hosts who must be backed.

Sam Allardyce’s team have lost just one of their last nine at the Boleyn Ground in the Premier League and with Everton suffering defeat in each of the last five top-flight games played away from Merseyside, it could be time for the Irons to end their Toffees hoodoo.

Wolves to beat Fulham @ 20/21

Kenny Jackett’s team warmed up for this FA Cup encounter with a fine 1-0 win away at Blackburn last weekend that extended Wolves’ unbeaten run to six games going into this Molineux encounter.

Fulham, by contrast, have lost three on the bounce in the Championship and with the Cottagers likely to be more concerned by goings on in the league, the hosts have what it takes to see off the London side, having already beaten them once in the second-tier this season already.
